Slit construction
Creating side slits with a 3.0 cm allowance, stabilized with interlining and finished with decorative stitching.
Where it is used
Serging Slit Area
p. 13- Serg over the edge and the top seam allowance of the opening, and a section 5.0 cm higher on the front panel.
Pressing Side Seams and Slits
p. 15- Press the seam allowances of the side seams towards the back - Press the seam allowances of the slits towards the wrong side by 3.0 cm at the same time.
Stitching Hem and Slits
p. 17- Stitch the decorative seam along the hem and slits following the marked line.
