Mitred bottom corners
A clean finishing technique for the bottom corners where the slit allowance meets the hem turn-up.
Where it is used
Pinning Bottom Corners
p. 16- Pin the edges of the bottom corners together, aligning the seam allowance of the cut with the hem allowance, folding the edges with the right sides facing inward.
Sewing Bottom Corners
p. 16- Sew the bottom corner edges of the piece together. Allowance: 0.7 cm.
