  1. Unzip and pin one side of the zipper tape to the right edge of the closure, lining up the edges and the tape’s border. Place the folded top edge of the zipper at the waistband notch. Sew one side of the zipper tape using a special presser foot for invisible zippers. Seam allowance: 1.0 cm.

  1. Attach the invisible zipper presser foot to your machine. Position the zipper under the foot so the needle is to the left of the zipper teeth, and the teeth rest in the groove of the presser foot. Stitch the zipper in place, starting at the waist edge and stopping 0.2–0.3 cm before reaching the start of the side seam.

  1. Attach the invisible zipper foot to the sewing machine. Turn the zipper teeth and place them under the foot so that the teeth are positioned to the left of the needle, in the groove of the foot. Stitch the zipper, starting the stitching from the upper stopper and finishing 2–3 mm before the lower control point. Secure the stitching with backstitches at the beginning and end.
