Pin the elastic to the top edge of the top, placing it from the upper side and spreading it evenly along the full length, overlapping the elastic ends by 1.0 cm.

Cut a 1.0 cm-wide elastic to the required length. The recommended elastic length is indicated on the front pattern piece.
