Waist seam
The horizontal seam connecting the gathered peplum to the lower edge of the bodice.
Where it is used
Stitch Waist Seam
p. 7- Sew, keeping a 1.0 cm seam allowance.
Pin Peplum to Bodice
p. 7- Place the lower blouse piece and the bodice right sides together, matching the waist seam allowance, and pin in place.
Stitch Waist Seam
p. 7- Sew, keeping a 1.0 cm seam allowance.
Sew the waist seam
p. 11- Place the bodice and skirt with their right sides facing each other, aligning them at the waistline. Sew the waist seam. Finish the seam allowances together and press them toward the skirt. Do the same for the lining, but press the allowances toward the bodice.
