Sleeve head pad
A small strip of batting sewn into the sleeve cap seam allowance to prevent the sleeve top from collapsing.

p. 36- Secure the sleeve hem allowance by hand using invisible stitches. Prepare the sleeve head pad. Cut a piece of lightweight batting to match the curve of the sleeve cap. Hand-sew the pad to the seam allowance along the sleeve cap.
