Interfacing reinforcement
Applying fusible interfacing to areas like the waistband, fly facing, and pocket openings to stabilize them.
Where it is used
Interfacing the Waistband
p. 2- Fully interface the waistband (1 pc). It is recommended to interface the pieces using the block-fusing method: rough-cut the pieces with an additional 1–2 cm allowance, apply the fusible interfacing, and then precisely cut them out according to the pattern piece. Next, fold under the seam allowance of one long edge of the waistband (1 cm) and press.

Fusible interfacing
p. 4- Fuse a 1.2 cm-wide strip of interfacing to the pocket-opening seam allowances on the wrong side of the front pant pieces.

Fusible interfacing
p. 4- Fuse the fly interfacing to the fly seam allowance on the wrong side of the right front pant piece.

Fusible interfacing
p. 4- Fuse the cut pieces: the center waistband section, the welt pieces, and the pant hem facings.

1. Reinforce the pattern pieces
p. 4- Reinforce the pattern pieces: attach interfacing to the plackets and collar, and fuse the collar to the seam allowance along the entire stitching perimeter. To help prevent stretching at the shoulder seam: Attach a strip of fusible interfacing with a knit base, 0.5 cm wide and as long as the shoulder edge, to the shoulder edge of the back piece (or insert a silicone tape under the seam for reinforcement).

Interfacing Application
p. 5- Fuse the pieces together, following the markings on the pattern. Add seam allowances for hemming the bottom edges of the front panels, back, and sleeves. Also add the top seam allowance for the pockets, the facing, and the back neckline facing.

Reinforce Zipper Seam Allowances
p. 3- On the wrong side of the front and collar pieces, reinforce the zipper seam allowances with a strip of fusible interfacing. Attach a 10 mm wide strip, keeping it 2–3 mm away from the edge so the strip’s edge will be caught in the stitching.

1. Interfacing
p. 3- Fuse the waistband pattern pieces. Attach a 1 cm wide strip of interfacing to the seam allowance at the pocket opening on the front skirt panels.

Applying interfacing to the closure
p. 5- Attach a 3.0 cm wide strip of interfacing to the seam allowance along the marked line for the closure. For extra reinforcement, add a 4x3 cm strip of interfacing to the lower part of the closure.

Interfacing the collar stand
p. 10- Apply a 1.5 cm wide strip of interfacing to the vertical edges of the collar stand from the inside, to reinforce the seam allowance for the zipper tape.

Reinforcing Interfacing Areas
p. 1- Reinforce the glue areas (the shaded parts on the pattern). Depending on your fabric, you can reinforce the slit completely or just at the top.

Marking and Reinforcing Side Pocket
p. 8- On the front of the finished panels, mark the pocket frame according to the pattern guidelines. Stitch along the frame lines, extending 1.5-2 cm beyond the outline. From the wrong side, reinforce the pocket opening with a strip of fusible interfacing. Cut a piece measuring 6x18 cm for this step.
