Where it is used

p. 14- Wrap the attached zipper tape with the lining seam allowance, folding along the waistband crease, and pin the allowance to the zipper tape seam.

Applying interfacing to the closure
p. 5- Attach a 3.0 cm wide strip of interfacing to the seam allowance along the marked line for the closure. For extra reinforcement, add a 4x3 cm strip of interfacing to the lower part of the closure.

Interfacing the collar stand

p. 5- Reinforce the area on the front where the zipper will be sewn. Make sure the reinforced section extends 1 cm beyond the end of the zipper opening. Apply bias fusible tape along the neckline edges of both the back and front.

ZIPPER PROCESSING
p. 15- Fold the lower end of the zipper inside with the inner placket and the inner upper front piece, and secure with pins.

ZIPPER PROCESSING
p. 18- In the same way, pin together the armhole edges of the upper front pieces (both outer and lining) as close to the neckline as possible.

Securing Bodice Lining
p. 39- Attach the fastener at the bottom of the placket, securing it to the end of the zipper tape. Pin the pressed seam allowance of the bodice lining to the seam where the bodice joins the skirt. Sew a line in the main fabric's color along the seam joining the bodice and the skirt, ensuring it fits into the groove.

Zip up and check the zipper
p. 8- Zip up the zipper. Check how well the zipper is sewn on. Press with an ironing cloth.

Secure the zipper wrap
p. 9- Fold the raw edge of the piece over and wrap it around the zipper edge, then pin or baste in place. Sew a line on the machine, stitching 1–2 mm from the edge. Backstitch at the beginning and end of the seam. Press with an iron.

Press the side edges of the zipper wrap
p. 9- Press the side edges of the piece inward so they're even with the zipper.

Copying Details and Interfacing
p. 5- Copy the necessary details and sections as marked on the pattern. This includes the top part of the bodice, facings, the top of the skirt front, the seam allowance for the zipper, and the hem of the back skirt.

Interfacing the outer pieces
p. 5- Interfacing the outer pieces. IMPORTANT! If your fabric does not fray at the edges, there is no need to overlock the edges.
