- Align the strap of the bodice with the back at the shoulder seam, then stitch them together. Press the seam allowances open.

- Sew the lining pieces of the bodice, aligning the seams and matching the notches of the corresponding pieces. Press the seam allowances open. Attach the back strap at the shoulder seam.

Reinforce and finish the skirt pieces
- Reinforce the skirt pieces either entirely or partially, including the hem allowance and the edges for the zipper. Finish all the vertical edges of the front and back skirt pieces. Stitch the darts or gather as marked on the pattern.

Reinforce the edges of the neckline and armholes
- From the inside of the lining, reinforce the edges of the neckline and armholes with adhesive tape, either completely or just in the curved areas.

Align the side edges of the skirt
- Align the side edges of the front and back pieces of the skirt. Sew the side seams and press the seam allowances open.

Serge the bottom edge of the skirt
- Serge the bottom edge of the skirt and press the hem allowance.

Finish the skirt lining
- Finish the edges along the length of the skirt lining. Sew the side seams and press the allowances open. Finish the lower edge of the skirt lining. Stitch the darts or gather the fabric.

Sew the waist seam
- Place the bodice and skirt with their right sides facing each other, aligning them at the waistline. Sew the waist seam. Finish the seam allowances together and press them toward the skirt. Do the same for the lining, but press the allowances toward the bodice.

Make cuts on the curved areas
- Make small cuts on the curved areas, stopping 2mm before the seam. You can trim the seam allowance down to 0.5cm.

Align the edges of the straps
- Align the edges of the straps with the lining along the neckline. Sew the seam.

Press and stitch the seam allowance
- Press the seam allowance towards the lining. Stitch the seam allowance on the right side of the lining, close to the seam line. Turn it to the right side and perform the final pressing.

Sew the lining to the garment
- Turn the lining inside out. Align the edges of the straps, armholes, and back of the lining with those of the garment. Sew the seam, leaving an opening on the back under the strap where indicated by the notches.

Trim corners and make cuts
- Trim the corners of the seam allowances at the shoulder edges. Make small cuts on the curved sections of the seam. Seam allowances can be trimmed to 0.5 cm.

Insert and secure the strap
- Insert the strap into the opening on the back. Try it on and adjust the strap length. Secure the strap from the inside and finish the lining of the bodice.

Sew the top piece with the skirt lining
- Align the bottom edge of the top piece with the skirt lining, right sides together, and sew them.

Attach the zipper to the center seam
- From the front side, attach the zipper to the center seam of the back. Mark the start, waist seam, and end of the zipper on it. The end of the zipper should align with the notch on the center seam of the back, as indicated on the pattern.

Sew the center seam of the back
- Sew the center seam of the back, starting from the notch where the zipper ends on the upper back to the corresponding notch on the lining. Press the seam allowances open.

Sew the zipper onto the back of the top
- Sew the zipper onto the back of the top. Completely unzip it, then align the edges and zipper with the guide marks (start, waist, end of the zipper) on one side first. Stitch this half of the zipper close to the teeth using a special zipper foot.

Stitch the second half of the zipper
- Align the zipper and edge of the back similarly on the other side, and secure with pins. Stitch the second half of the zipper with the special zipper foot.

Stitch along the open section of the back seam
- Stitch along the open section of the back seam beneath the zipper. We suggest using a single-sided presser foot, folding the zipper tail to the side.

Align and sew upper back and lining
- From the inside, align the center edges of the upper back and lining along the zipper. Sew, leaving about 7 cm from the end of the zipper. Trim the upper corner of the allowances.

Turn the dress right side out
- Turn the dress right side out and press the back middle seam.

- Hand stitch the open section using invisible stitches. Finish with a final pressing.
