Sleeve Assembly - Back
- Attach the sleeve to the back piece using the same method.

Sleeve Assembly - Front
- Place the front piece and the sleeve right sides together, align the sleeve seam with the armhole, match the edges, pin in place, and sew along the front piece edge with an overlock machine. Press and then fold the seam allowance toward the sleeve.

Attaching the Sleeve
- Sew the side seam and sleeve seam in one continuous stitch. Turn the sweatshirt inside out, align the edges, and pin them in place. Use an overlock machine to stitch along the piece of the back, then press the seam toward the front.

Finishing the Neckline Binding - Folding
- Fold the neck binding in half and press, shaping it into a gentle curve.

Finishing the Neckline Binding - Seaming
- Sew the neckline binding along the short edge. We recommend using a sewing machine for this seam, and pressing the seam allowances open.

Attaching the Neckband - Alignment
- Turn the sweatshirt inside out, then carefully align the neckline edge with the neckband piece using the notches as guides. Position the seam of the neckband at the center back.

Attaching the Neckband - Stitching
- Sew the neckband to the neckline along the neckband piece. Press the seam on the sweatshirt, being careful not to stretch the fabric as you iron.

Attaching the Cuffs - Preparation
- Fold the cuff piece in half and press. Sew along the seam—using a sewing machine is recommended. Press the seam allowances open.

Attaching the Cuffs - Assembly
- Align the bottom of the sleeve with the cuff as shown in the diagram. For easier handling, turn the sleeve inside out. Make sure all notches are perfectly matched. Gently stretch the cuff to fit the width of the sleeve and secure it with pins. Sew along the cuff edge with an overlock machine. Press the seam allowance toward the sleeve.

Finishing the Hem - Seaming
- Sew the waistband piece along the short edge. It's best to do this seam on a sewing machine and press the seam allowances open.

- Press the fold on the waistband piece.

Finishing the Hem - Assembly
- Attach the waistband to the sweatshirt. Line up the waistband seam with one of the side seams. Then, match all the notches. Stitch on the waistband side using an overlock machine. Press the seam upwards.

Overview
- The sweatshirt is finished. If you like, you can add topstitching along the neckline, sleeves, and cuffs, and cover the back neckline seam with twill tape.
