Armhole Treatment - Front Panel

Slit Reinforcement

- Pin the placket to the left seam allowance of the closure, aligning it over the zipper tape. Attach the placket using a single presser foot with a 1.0 cm seam allowance. Wrap the seam allowances of the zipper tape with the bodice lining, folding over the seam of the upper edge, keeping the zipper tape between the layers.

Zipper Decorative Topstitching
- Fold the placket onto the lining and pin it in place. Sew a finishing stitch 0.1 cm along the right edge of the fastener, stopping at the bottom end point. Detach the placket. Sew a decorative stitch 0.1 cm along the left edge of the closure, turn 90 degrees and sew along the bottom edge to secure the bottom edge of the placket completely.

Securing Bodice Lining
- Attach the fastener at the bottom of the placket, securing it to the end of the zipper tape. Pin the pressed seam allowance of the bodice lining to the seam where the bodice joins the skirt. Sew a line in the main fabric's color along the seam joining the bodice and the skirt, ensuring it fits into the groove.
